WAEC updates 2021 BECE results checker portal, results to be out

The West African Exams Council ahead of the release of 2021 BECE School results of candidates who sat for the 2021 national examination has updated the BECE results checker portal, a staff of WAEC has told EducationWeb.com.gh.

The WAEC official Thursday said unlike the downtime recorded after the release of the 2021 WASSCE results, his outfit this time has put in place effective measures to ensure the BECE results portal is active and responds to the process.

Asked if the non-profit-making organization (WAEC) before next year will release the 2021 BECE School results, he told EducationWeb plans are far advanced for the outcome of the national examination to be made public in due course.

“The 2021 BECE results at the appropriate time will be released but I will urge students who sat for the examination to be calm, they are only to check their results at https://eresults.waecgh.org/,” the member of the Council entreated.

A total of 571,894 candidates made up of 287,605 males and 284,289 females from 18,028 participating Junior High Schools sat for the 31st edition of the national examination administered at 2,158 examination centres nationwide.

The examination which commenced on Monday, 15th November with Social Studies Paper 2&1 under strict coronavirus protocols ended on Friday, November 19, 2021, with Information & Communication Technology (ICT).

To begin the results checking process please kindly dial the short code *944# on your mobile phone to buy a BECE results checker voucher from WAEC, a Serial and Pin will be sent to you after completing the purchase.

1. Visit the BECE results checking portal https://eresults.waecgh.org

2. Enter your Index Number

3. Confirm your Index Number

4. Select examination type (E.g BECE)

5. Enter examination year (E.g 2021)

6. Enter your serial number

7. Enter your Pin and

8. Click on Submit button and wait a few minutes for a pop-up window to display your BECE for School results.
